Jin was rather oblivious, walking through the simple beauty of Clover Town and passing it by without notice, ''Raza, where do we have to go for this request again? I swear there can't be any dark mages hanging around this boring place!'' His tone sounded almost obnoxious but it wasn't to the point of sounding intentional. Raza only shook his head as he listened to his loud partner, walking in stride but he showed a much more conserved presence. Besides the fact that he looked to be a hardened Exceed warrior, he held himself in a refined manner, almost eloquent in comparison to Jin's rowdy composure, ''Yeah Jin, the job is in the next town, Shiro or something like that,'' he looked to see the strong oaks just off the road, ''but we can take our time, they aren't expecting us for another couple days.''

Jinchu didn't even slow down, his long fiery hair resting on his stark-white jacket that trailed just below his knees. The trim on the cloak was yellow enough to match the beating sun above, smiling down on the earth, extending its heat over all the land in Jin's sight. The temperature wouldn't make any difference to Jinchu, the young Fire Dragon Slayer had a natural resistance, a trait inherited with his magic but Raza on the other hand wasn't quite as fortunate. He wouldn't complain but the well-mannered Exceed was almost ready to take a rest.

A slight breeze came in for a moment which would dance with the ends of Jinchu's hair and jacket. Raza embraced the gust of fresh air but was rather disappointed that the moment of bliss was quite short-lived. Quickly following the cool wind was the heavy, stale air of the hot weather. This would not suggest a promising outcome for the weather later on. The clash of cold and hot air usually meant one thing; a storm is brewing. Jin didn't look too much into it, mainly because he barely took notice of the differing temperatures since they didn't bother him in any way. Raza chose to heed the warning and make a mental note o keep on the lookout for a last-minute shelter thdey could escape to if the storm were to indeed unfold.

Nabil walked along the main road of Clover Town. Its denizens were scattered about at huts of various importance and buildings of bricks were built nearby to accommodate families. His pale right hand clenched the thick rope of his duffle bag on his right shoulder. He walked steadily through the crowd, ignoring anyone and everyone around him. His chestnut brown bangs curled over his dark brows and brought his cold glare to attention. He couldn't stand being around weak people, that was the way of Sabertooth and that was the way he viewed them.

His deathly colored flames brought fear to all that viewed them and would inspire fear in those that faced them. The cyan cloak over his right shoulder flowed delicately behind him, sending billowing wave along the black Sabertooth insignia embroiled on it. On his waist laid a black waist cloak trimmed in grey fur. " I tire of walking. I need something to eat. " he told himself, stopping in the middle of main path and looking around. When he noticed many foreign foods but none that he desired. And the smells of the dishes around him filled him with plenty of choices, that was until a peculiar scent threw him off. His eyes caught a glimpse of fiery red hair and it almost immediately irritated him off. The guy with the hair wore white as clothes. A low grunt came from Nabil as the man passed and the scent along with him.

People were all around but they were barely a concern to Jin at the moment. He was looking for some excitement since he hadn't had a challenging request in a while. Raza, even though he was more mindful of his surroundings, like Jinchu he kept himself and they walked together, an unlikely but fitting pair against the world. They passed by someone who abruptly stopped to look around in search of something but as they pushed on the young man made a grunt, something well-heard by Jinchu's acute ears but he frankly took little care in what the kid had to say. For all he knew he was a blind boy who was lost or he could have rudely grunted at someone else. Raza, on the other hand would not just simply pass the boy by, already irritated with the hot sun.

"Do you have something to say? I haven't had the chance to fight today, you want to be my first victim?" The venom in his words were meant to strike deep, venting his frustration with the heat in a slightly vicious form. It was clear that Raza was not in the mood to brush off the slightest bit of rudeness. Jinchu nearly walked off as Raza stood there but after only continuing a couple feet her turned with a raised eyebrow, a deviant smirk taking shape as he looked back to Raza.

"Looks like someone's not takin' prisoners today, hehe! I'd say have at it but the guy hasn't raised a finger at us Raza. Remember the time we lost it on those guys and after a couple broken bones we noticed that they couldn't even use magic? Hah! That was funny but the guys were helpless to even defend themselves." He turned his whole body over and took a step back toward his partner and the stranger, "How about we leave him alone unless he says somethin'." The ironic part of the situation that in most cases Raza would be convincing Jin not to be so aggressive. Whenever Raza got noticeably cranky though it shifted a bit. Jinchu, of course not one to really put a leash on his buddy but just gave him an alternative that he could live with.

The sound of a voice below him brought Nabil's eyes down. The emotionless, malignant gaze of the God Slayer looked at the talking feline with exceptionally dark sapphires. He crouched down to the feline's level, his arm laid casually on his thighs. His head grew closer to the feline's face with sinister intent in his expression. " You should really know your place. Your mouth might get you killed one day. "

Just then the red haired man took a step towards them, as if to take claim over the current situation. Nabil turned his gaze from the feline and onto the man. His cocky, yet dangerous eyes were set on the hair of the mage and again he felt irritation at its bright color.

The flow of the wind blew his cyan color cloak towards the man and his waistcloak billowed slightly from underneath. He hadn't yet raised from his crouch, but he felt like he would have too in a little to handle the garbage. " Are you this cat's owner ? " he asked in low tone.

Raza would have let it go, even in his grumpy mood but the kid pushed it past disrespect; he lowered himself and made an open mockery of him at eye level. His Icy blue eyes would gain a piercing quality as they sharply into the boy, so laid back in his posture, so ignorant to believe Raza was anything less than a deadly warrior. Jin was no different. His face just as fierce as before only slightly baring more teeth and his eyes lacked their brighter glint.

"Learn your place or I might just kill you one day." Raza had every intention on punching the smug kid's face but there was a proper timing for such a thing and it hadn't presented itself yet.

" Are you this cat's owner ? "

"Alright, you insulted my partner for the last time!" Jinchu was livid, which brought out a thicker texture to his voice. There were a couple spontaneous flickers of flame that sprouted off of his two big knuckles on his left hand. The flame was only burning a few inches up off of the knuckles and the random ignition was only present for a moment before dissipating into the air. Raza clenched his fists in the meantime as he was about to mercilessly assault the crouched prick as soon as he was done with Jin, "Raza! Kick his ass!"

Neither Jin or Raza were the type to be openly insulted without thoroughly taking care of the would-be verbal abusers. In their entire history together they had never taken any crap from anybody and this new guy was no different. It looked as if another interesting chapter in their journey was about to unfold.

The Spawn of Differing Flames Empty Re: The Spawn of Differing Flames

Post by Nabil Thu Dec 27, 2012 10:04 pm

The feline's threat held no ground with Nabil, to him all beings not in Sabertooth were thrash, even little cats. A small chuckle came from him at the two's shouts and banters. " You'll lose. " he told them without a hint of amusement in his voice. His cold blue eyes were more focused on the boy than the actual cat in front of him.

The flames that had sparked off his hands moments earlier had called to him in just that quick second. He could tell from the heat and color that they would be delicious. Nabil stood from his crouch and looked at the fiery haired man. " You especially should flee. I have little interest in those that stand no chance against me. " he told him, seriously.

By this time the a few of the people around them had started to notice the little confrontation. A man wearing a long robe and several piercing along his ears spoke. " H-Hey, Aren't you Jinchu of Fairy Tail ? " he asked, then viewing the whole situation he looked towards Nabil. " Waaait. Aren't you Nabil of Sabertooh. " Suddenly his face became exaggeratedly shocked. " WAHHHH !!! This is bad. EVERYONE RUN FOR IT !!! " he shouted, running down way Nabil was coming from.

Nabil paid the man no mind and kept his eyes on his would-be opponents.

"You'll Lose." Jin made no verbal protest to the comment, he merely turned, shoving his clenched fists into his pockets as he walked the direction to what looked to be the closest restaurant.

"Raza, I'll be waiting for you when you finish with this punk. I'm hungry right now." The brown-haired punk stood and Raza's fur spiked up at the back of his neck all the way down to the tip of his tail. The man spoke again and the Exceed could only manage to keep himself calm by bringing his tail fluidly back and forth, as if it were riding an invisible wave. He said something about fleeing but Jin had already turned, not realizing that the words were actually directed at him. Raza clearly saw by the boy's eyes that he was talking to Jinchu but he thought of his words as scum not worth responding to.

In the background a man with many piercings witnessed the scene before him, just catching the Dragon Slayer's face as he turned to walk away. " It almost like Jinchu was leaving with the man and the few that heeded his advice to get out of the way only at a much slower pace.

"I see... Now this makes sense," Raza didn't take his eyes off of the one now known to be Nabil, "you are from Sabertooth. Haha, don't I feel bad for you." This of course would bring an angry outburst from Nabil, Sabertooth were nearly as notorious as Fairy Tail when it came to defending their guild's name. But of course Raza knew that this type of passion would almost be a crutch in a fight so he would milk it for all its worth.

The Spawn of Differing Flames Empty Re: The Spawn of Differing Flames

Post by Nabil Thu Dec 27, 2012 11:00 pm

As if on key with Raza's words a deeply root, intense heat begin to fill the area. Nabil's head lowered towards the ground and his arms suddenly tensed underneath his sleek armor. The cloak on his shoulder billow frequently along with the lower edges of his waistcoat. " I really hate being ignored. " he growled through clenched canines. The ground suddenly begin to crack under the pressure coming from Nabil's magic. He curled his left fist inward, straining the muscles of his arm.

The heat invoke an unsettling warm breeze through the area, and almost immediately the speed of the citizens sped up. Seconds after his anger filled words, dark flames raised around him. Engulfing him like a cocoon, it charred the ground underneath him a deep sooty black. Within the abyssal flames his eyes appeared to be nothing more glowing sapphire spheres and held a intent worse than simple vengeance. It held death.

Ignoring the words of the feline below him, Nabil dashed off towards the sauntering mage. His fist was cocked back and dark flames surrounded them as he approached and swung for the back of his head in a downward motion. Aiming to knock his face into the ground.

Jinchu slowly walked, the commotion around him took form and he had half a mind to return to the cause of it and bludgeon him with his bare hands. The thing about that though is the boy insulted Raza, not him. Therefore it would be Raza that took care of it. Plus he is a member of Sabertooth. Most of those guys are all talk from Jin's experience and even worse, he had never heard of Nabil. It was unlikely that Nabil had heard of Jinchu either but still it still didn't matter that much in the Dragon Child's eyes.

" I really hate being ignored. " It seemed that the Sabertooth boy was finally showing a bit of his anger, even if it wasn't in response to Raza's taunts. In little time he began to spawn a particular sort of heat and the source of the heat revealed to be black flames of the like Raza had never witnessed before. They actually came to fruition as he was talking but they did not harm him, nor was he afraid of them either, Raza had never backed down in the face of danger before and he would not do so on this day.

Nabil made to dash forward and ignore Raza as his opponent and attempt a cheep shot at Jin. This was something that clearly wouldn't be allowed. Raza would extend his wings, ripping them through the back of his jacket to get his full span. The wings looked magnificent, more majestic than a typical Exceed, similar to that of a Pegasus. He took no time to admire them though as he spun on a foot and with a mighty flap he surged forward. With wings Raza clearly was faster than the Sabertooth boy, swerving to meet him before he could make his strike. He saw the flame on Nabil's fist as he went for his punch, it was shrouded in more black fire.

Raza sped through to make a speeding direct hit to the attacker's mid-section, aiming to plow square into his kidney area if he kept moving forward. If they were to collide then Nabil would face a direct blunt-damage strike to his fire-fist side that would not only veer his movements off-course but he would also be sent 1-2 meters if not to the ground. He would also deal with usual pains of a hard kidney shot and would ultimately be forced to consider Raza as someone he had to take seriously.

In the event of a miss, however unlikely that was, Raza would still succeed in negating the attack since Nabil would have been forced to move backwards to evade the winged attack. He would finally have to acknowledge there was more to Raza than meets the eye and that he likely had to at least immobilize him if he wanted to get to Jinchu.

The Spawn of Differing Flames Empty Re: The Spawn of Differing Flames

Post by Nabil Fri Dec 28, 2012 3:48 am

Nabil charged forwards, his attention on the head of the fiery haired mage. His teeth gleamed viciously through the ominous flames. The people he passed seemed a blur. He had burst from the ground with such force that his feet weren't even touching it. Only the crackling sound of his flames were heard to him.

Suddenly a being sped up next him, catching his attention. His gazed looked over for a second and he noticed the feline. The fury on his face was still apparent. He had no patience for the mediocre threats of a little cat. Even if he was some make believe fighter, he still stood no chance against the skills of a God Slayer. His fist was already cocked back and that gave him ample enough resources to crush this feline's ambitions.

As he charged in from the side, Nabil would attempt to grip the furred head of the cat, which would cause a burning sensation; one much stronger than that of any fire mage before him. Once in his grasp, Nabil would slam the small cat into the earth below him, his own body being uplifted from the sheer force in which he delivered it. He would waste no time in delivering the final blow, the flames on his body would drain to the palm grasping the skull of the petite fighter. " Now die, " The dark flames would quickly make short work of that pretty little fur of his as it built up into the strain sphere in his palm.

The Spawn of Differing Flames Empty Re: The Spawn of Differing Flames

Post by Raiga Fri Dec 28, 2012 4:05 pm

Raza was simply underestimated. He did not think that the Sabertooth would stoop so low to think he could realistically make quick work of him with a reaction on par with that of a human who obviously fought more with his magic than he did with his own body. In honesty he did get caught in the grip of Nabil but he would not catch his head but his defensive arm he threw up once Nabil quite obviously advertised he changed the direction of his blow.

The searing burn that came threw the Exceed into a world of pain but he had a feeling that the bark was worse than the bite. His teeth were clenched to deal with the pain as the momentum he had would bring him and Nabil, who was attached to him, aside and to a ninety degree turn (in Nabil's case he would be skidding). Next Nabil would attempt to throw him down but Raza made an ingenious counter. The Sabertooth mage lifted his arm dramatically as it would be required to throw Raza down with the amount of force he intended and as he did that Raza did to things, wincing still at the pain. With his grabbed arm he, in turn, grabbed at his opponent's arm. Still his hand was too small to establish a grip so he brought his other arm through the black flame, shedding a light tear at the burning pain, and latched on to the fiery arm.

Nabil threw down in a powerful display, lifting himself into the air with the force. Raza could nearly with this action as Nabil let go, he began initiating his move. A powerful couple flaps of his wings sent him backwards, not fighting but directing the force Nabil's actions to his advantage. In response to this Nabil would be pulled forward to lay flat in the air. Because of the force of direction Raza had to barely tug before letting go and Nabil would be quickly diving toward the ground to fall flat on his face. Raza would flap back once more and watch as Nabil would react in however way he would to save himself or lighten the blow.

"You plan to beat me... With a display like that?" His tone suggested a hint of hilarity. It seemed, even when taking his singed arms into account, This fight was doing wonders for the Exceed's mood.

Meanwhile Jinchu kept making those slow steps, walking away in an almost taunting fashion. He was now about ten meters away from the scene behind him but even he noticed the heat of the fire behind him when he was a bit closer, 'Hmmm. Too bad I can't fight him or I could have made the guy look silly, haha. If he even forced me to use magic, that is. Plus he couldn't pick worse Exceed to fight... Raza has faced the threat of burns all his life since we trained together. Man... Now I REALLY want to fight someone!!!!!!'

The Spawn of Differing Flames Empty Re: The Spawn of Differing Flames

Post by Nabil Fri Dec 28, 2012 5:59 pm

The small cat was giving him more trouble then first expected. It seemed he would be more of a nuisance than initially thought. The little trip that he had taken Nabil on was one that couldn't be avoided and so Nabil was taken into the air a few feet and dropped. Nabil sat up, his gaze on the lean back the man walking away. He was tired of playing with the little feline, if he wanted to fight so much then he would give him a fight. And after his ass was handed to him he would deal with that ignorant owner of his as well.

The smell of the concrete had touch his nostril when he impacted and now his sleek armor was a little dented from the fall. Though his Sabertooth imprinted cloak was still clean and welll and that was what mattered most. Nabil stood up from the ground and slowly wiped the specks of dirt from his pants. His tone became unusually calm for the cold look in his eyes. " Your owner.. Tell me, what is his name ? " he asked, ignoring the felines taunts. He had no intentions of acknowledging a being that was barely considered one. Cats were animals and honestly the fact that he could speak had irritated him; even more so than the fiery hair of the mage walking away from him.

The street by now had been cleared of spectators and Nabil was a little relieved of this. If his fellow members had learned he had taken a blow from a cat, he would never be able to live it down. Not to mention the master's fury would be unquenchable. Nabil waited a moment, then as the cat would respond he would say. " No matter, I'll find out when I toss him your charred body. " he said, nonchalantly shaking his hand of the crispy fur in his flame engulfed hands. He spread his legs a foot apart and brought a hand near his gut and another his chin. The flames on his fist were alone now, no longer accompanied by the overwhelming flames on his body. He decided he was done talking to a lower being, and that the next thing said would be to the red head.

(Since spell was never used, I returned my magic.)

Raza floated in the air, only a couple feet off the ground but that was enough so that he could be at eye level with Nabil once he stood up, as he did indeed fall flat on the ground from the maneuver. A smirk was all that could be seen to be paired with the Exceed's dissenting words. Of course the Sabertooth mage got up, dusted himself off and kept his face rigid, not acknowledging that he had genuinely been taken by surprise. Still Raza knew that he must have had a slight sense of embarrassment there and his silence only helped sweeten this moment.

" Your owner.. Tell me, what is his name ? " And of course, he had to save face and pretend like nothing happened. Raza's eyes only gave way to irritation at this point, Nabil clearly didn't get the nature of his and Jin's relationship.

"I have no owner, twit! And did you not hear that guy earlier? You need to get your ears ch-." The boy's words cut in like wasn't even acknowledging Raza's words as being significant.

" No matter, I'll find out when I toss him your charred body. " There was a pause, one of dead silence where the Sabertooth stood coolly and Raza was too angry to utter words, like his own actions thus far have not earned him respect in the slightest. The symbol of this silence would quickly become apparent to both Raza and Nabil. Jinchu had stopped walking and stood there, letting a slight gust of wind blow past him and play with his hair. Neither of the other to would see

"Are you trying to insult my friend?"

Jin's head turned, he was about fifteen meters away but anyone could see the anger in his eyes. They took a look different to the aqua-green earlier seen, looking serpent-green and clearly deadly. He turned, a tongue of flame spouted from his right elbow and he centered his body to look straight at the scene he had intended to leave just a few minutes ago. He began walking back, slowly as in different areas flame erupted from his limbs, only to dissipate and leaving areas for more flame to spontaneously ignite from. They would see that his face bore no emotion besides the rage and blood-lust in his eyes, but his mouth flat-lined, only barely threatening to turn into an open-mouthed frown.

Obviously this scene was dramatic but there was the spiritual aspect to it. If Nabil felt it he would be able to acknowledge that Jinchu was no ordinary human, not a simple hothead in this moment. Raza could feel it as he and his Dragon Slayer partner were always in sync, even when at odds with each other. Raza knew that this kid had crossed the line in his mannerisms and words. He had finally gone to the point of angering the Dragon.

Raza had only a few minutes left with this one and since he had to admire his friend's dedication to defend his honor, he might just let him take over if he makes it there soon enough or if Nabil were to attack. Of course the Sabertooth would be ignorant to what was happening but he would learn soon enough that his days of playing superiority were numbered.

A hostile gust blew down from the fiery haired mage, as if a signal for the rage that was to come. The wind swept across Nabil's hair and drew his vision down towards him. His arms dropped to his side, unconsciously flickering dark flames from his engulfed fist." Oh. " Nabil commented with completely intrigued cool. A small smile lifted his lips as he acknowledge the challenge and semi-turned towards him.

He could feel that his battle with the feline had been over and that his new opponent was the one who had provoked his rage in the first place. " Good. This is what I wanted anyway.. " he stated, cracking his knuckles as his body flared over with black flames. The ground slowly crumbled below him as he walked towards the oncoming boy. Nabil could feel the heat of the battle's beginning and it urged him forwards like no challenge before. He hadn't known why but from the very beginning that guy had irritated him. It was time to burn that arrogant persona of him down to ashes and make him bow before Sabertooth.

What was he too do besides charge forward into battle. It wasn't his fought, his instincts had drove him down that path. The opposition across from him seemed so much stronger than the feline had. He could honestly here his flames begging to burn his corpse, to feed them the fuel that was his power. He continued forwards, matching the pace of the boy in front of him. " I'll make you pay for Ignoring me. " he muttered to himself, waiting for the boy enraged response.

Post by Raiga Sat Dec 29, 2012 3:35 am

Raza floated, slightly fading back as Nabil turned to face Jinchu, looking like an oncoming storm of flames that kept flickering on and off with every movement. Yes Raza would let Jin take over for one reason; Nab's attitude towards the Exceed was eating at Jin more than even Raza himself and his desire to shut the Saber up was too great to deny him the satisfaction of doing it personally. Nabil spoke but what he said was hardly worth remembering to either Jin or Raza.

The Sabertooth ignited his body with the mysterious black flame once more. Raza did not say anything but was puzzled as he knew the fire in that spell was useless for combat. Even so it was Jinchu's turn to embrace the heat and he would find that out on his own.

Nabil began walking while his black fire enshrouded his body but it was noticeable he was matching Jin's casually threatening pace. The would meet in the middle if they continued and had the patience to maintain the slow, definitive strides but Jin was not one known for patience.

" I'll make you pay for Ignoring me. " Jinchu had very acute hearing, a trait of his magic along with many of his other senses and heard the Saber muttering to himself. His eyes still held their deadly glare but only a smirk shaped his face in response to Nabil's meaningless promise. It was unfortunate that he would not be able to keep it.

Reaching just 8 meters away from Nabil he stopped, stood tall and strong. There was less fire emitting from him as he usually just let the flames flare as a scare tactic to set the mood. Only a small flicker remained coming from his left wrist, right elbow, and a slightly bigger oe coming off the right shoulder. He furrowed his brow, making him look quite vicious when paired with the unsettling smirk that just revealed his left canine and the piercing, murderous gaze he held. He raised his left fist, clenching it and held it out in front of him. It was time to get going and if Nabil was going to take to long, Jin was going to take the first move.

A psychotic smile stretched his slight smirk as his flames dispersed from its overwhelming coverage and became small schools of drifting flames. Large spews of the dark flames flickered off his shoulders and another flow from his left forearm. His definite strides hadn't halted with the man's. He was never one to cower and allow his opponents to strike first. In fact he was more than happy to strike first.

His arm came out to his side, his hands were upturned and looked to be crushing something. The psychotic grin soon turned to muffled cackles as he rushed off into a sprint towards the man. The dark flames behind him danced with exotic swirls, diving back into him then floating back out. It looked as if the flames carried a life of it own and in a sense that was true. His flames were more than just normal kinetic energy. They were gifts from the very goddess herself. They more than burned their enemies, they completely obliterated them and that was how Nabil fought.

Closing in on the stand still mage, Nabil cocked his right fist back. He held his left arm curled and tight to his body as he jabbed hard towards the enraged face of the male. This flame enhanced punch wasn't no walk in the park to take, it would inflict bruising to even the toughest of mages and more than that, inflict definite burns. Though he doubt his arrogant opponent would mind a little pain.

Jinchu fought a smile as his opponent began his charge. The dramatic display before him was all too poetic. The fire that engulfed Nabil was fading and falling behind him, dancing as if marking his tracks. Of course Jin was to move as well since he had only a bit of time to react. This clash was to be quite an interesting one to say the least.

Jin shot forward as his opponent was just raising his fist, cocking it back and the young Dragon Slayer was in position for his own move. Nabil had taken his own defensive measures by guarding his left midsection carefully, a smart move, but a needless one in this case. Jinchu kept his established momentum forward and pushed slightly diagonal with his stride and as he planted with his left foot leading he let the other half of his body skid and sway. With this movement the punch initiated by Nabil would not meet its target but pass by it, the black flame just missing Jin's face.

Pairing with his evasive movements were the actions undertaken by Jin's hands. As his dodge brought him outside Nabil's right jab Jin rocketed his own strike to the midsection. It was in all-terms a kidney shot but it was apparent that he would do more damage to his own fist than he would to the armor. Just as his b low would connect he applied his own magical power to ignite his left punching fist and his trailing right foot. The blow, if connected would surely dent the armore and give a nice hard bruise to the kidney it protects, delivering a similar level of power that was laid in Nabil's own fire-fist even if he were too proud to admit it. Jin's right hand just floated near his side waiting for a need to be used but due to the positioning it had little to do for the moment. It would now be Nabil's reaction that would decide Jinchu's next movement even if he did already have something in mind.

Nabil wasn't too surprised when his fist had slid pass his opponent's face, after all not to many starter strikes had landed the way one would have imagined it too. But that was the reason for follow up strikes, moves that were meant to protect and possibly hit on the second go around. Of course though this quick striking lad wouldn't allow all that. The punch thrown was intense and quick, it seemed like it had all but crushed the armor that was protecting his kidneys. The pain was minor though, compared the training he had endured with Amateratsu that strike was easily tolerable.

A wincing pain snarled his face however but it hadn't halted his movements. Nabil continued with the momentum of his punch, extending his back leg so that it was pass Jinchu's, who was now in close proximity to him. The flamed leg would bring little pain, but would definitely sweep him off his feet. If that had work he would spin back around until he faced Jinchu and once he gained footing on his left, he would lift his right leg up and slam his flame covered sabaton down onto the mage's gut. This fight would be far from pleasant for any of them, including the little feline. For he would have to watch his partner getting pounded.

Jin's punch had connected, crunching the armor where he made impact with a solid, full, thud. The blow would give a half-second delay to Nabil's next move and as Jinchu had his fluid motion he was already flowing into his next move. He intended to spin, hopping off of his lead foot and gain a small distance before diving back in with his usual ferocity. Even with his edge in reaction Jin wouldn't be able to completely get his lead foot out of the way before just getting caught by Nabil's sweeping leg.

Thanks to the fact that Jin already was shifting weight he did not lose balance like his opponent clearly intended and received very minor damage to his nicked left heel, ever slightly, propelling the spin. Spinning on the balls of his flaming right foot, cracks formed on the earth underneath. Of course it was now to begin his move. He brought his left foot down with a stomp, now in line with Nabil but facing the opposite way and of course the was a meter's distance between them.

He stood, his left hand and right foot aflame, burning brilliantly and coursing with strength. In little time he bent his knees, lowering his center of gravity and shifted his torso so he faced Nabil in a stance. He took care to also slide his back left foot a little to the side and back for a better base. He was going to keep it simple for now and get fancy when it benefited him to reveal his outlandish fighting style.

"Nice armor you got there, do you want me to pummel or shred it?" The bite in his words were there but it was obvious that he entertained a playful tone. Whether it would clue his opponent in that he was just warming up would all depend on how well he was paying attention. Still Jin would itch with anticipation, planning a strike that would soon cause dizzying side-effects if executed correctly.

The Spawn of Differing Flames Empty Re: The Spawn of Differing Flames

Nabil's sabaton slammed down into the earth, cracking the ground around it and spreading a ring of dark flames from him. The fractured ground underneath his right foot had shown the force of which his attacks could be delivered, and secretly... he reveled in it. Nabil bent his knees and spread his legs apart, leaving his right foot ahead of the left. His arms curled up his to his mid-section in balled fists, black flames hoovering off of his forearms and upper back in swirls of dangerous intent. " For someone so cocky you sure do run alot. " he mocked in a deceptive, calm tone.

Nabil took notice of the man's new stance, it was martially correct but than again Nabil had never been one for following those. He had learned his own " unique " style of fighting from a God. And he was sure that would be more than enough to handle this fire mage.

Sapphire eyes looked around him, gazing at the possible advantages he could take from the surroundings. Not many came. Only the buildings that lined the main road was really any use. There were light posts as well but what good would they do him. Besides, he enjoyed fighting with his hands; feeling the fight burned out of his opponents was one of the few pleasantries he got from battle. Nabil tighten his clenched fist and in response the darken flames sparked and crackled hungrily. " Here I come ... Thrash. "

Nabil burst forwards, skidding to a stop only a foot away from the man. Mid skid he turned his body the opposite side of the man's martial stance and quickly placed his left foot behind and between the man's own feet. His eyes glanced towards his enemy, a bit of a crazed smile on his lips. Before he was done he would try to lock his left arm around the man's right forearm and send his blazing right fist into his back. Nabil had forgotten what it was like to face an opponent in close arm combat, it had been so long since he had the chance to do so. Hopefully he wasn't to rusty as to leave his opponent bored.

This was a pivotal moment. Nabil took his turn to slow down, flaming foot cracking the earth. He got into his own stance, creating a suitable stand-off between the two. There was just a meter's distance but that didn't bother Jin. He was about to pounce forward and exert his physical dominance but it seemed his opponent was more accustomed to taking the initiative.

" Here I come ... Thrash. " It was almost disheartening as the boy was foolish enough to give away his attack. Nabil shot forward to Jin but at the same time the Dragon Slayer did the same to his opponent. They collided in half the time, Nabil poked his arm inside Jinchu's like he was interlocking with Jin's leading forearm. He proceeded to shovel his arm through and attempted a back-fist to what would be Jin's unprotected back.

Of course this plan would go off without a hinge if Jin did nothing in response or defense but he was not the type to let something like that happen. Little would his opponent know Jinchu's whole fighting style was engineered and created off the fact that he was a hand to hand fighter.

What he did was allow Nabil to push hisarm through to jam him up squeezed his arm in to lock it in place. As he did this he pivoted on his lead foot since his movement was limited by Nabil's positioning. His pivot however, allowed him to turn his body sweeping his left side to almost center-face Nabil and cause hyper-extension to the arm that was locked in place. In coercion with his body movement he brought his left arm all the way around, whipping from where it was back in his stance. A lot of momentum was given to this fist, burning with a passionate flame, to connect with the elbow of his opponents trapped arm. If hit there would likely be a cracking noise as a fracture was the minimal guarantee to the hyper-extended joint along with the first degree burn of the fire.

Of course the flame of Nabil's that was on his fist burned a bit on Jin's mid-right side and it stung but with his method of combat he learned to keep quiet about burns of this caliber. His white jacket would catch on fire and a visible mark would begin to form.

What tenacity the guy had. He was planning on attacking using the force that Nabil was applying to his own attack. A feeling of enjoyment and enthrallment veiled his mind for a moment. This fighter before him was obviously experienced. But so were so many before him, and like them he would too fall to the wielder of black flames. Just as Jinchu had applied pressure to his arm, Nabil had immediately fought it back. His arm would tense up and the muscles in them would show as he fought back the nature of his move; of course though that wouldn't be enough, not alone anyway.

His fist pound the man's back and he could feel the soft flesh of the man's skin burn under his knuckles. Nabil could feel his opponent's momentum building. Since he used a great deal of strength struggling against this man's vendetta he could imagine that he wasn't feeling to sure that his strike would hit its target. But of course the man had also overlooked a very crucial detail, Nabil had placed his foot deliberately between his feet for a reason. Now it was just up to him to show him his mistakes, the first and foremost being challenging him.

With a quick grab of that annoyingly red hair, Nabil yanked it furiously; surely snapping back the man's neck and disrupting the fury of his attack. Second afterwards a quick swipe of his left foot to the man's right would again attempt bring him down. This time there was no means of escape. He would hopefully be thrown off balance and seeing the way this man had fought so far; he probably wouldn't fall peacefully. That being the case Nabil's right hand fluent raise to the forehead of the guy and he forcibly slammed him to the ground beside him, sparking up a fairly amount of debris. And in his deathly flared hands were sure to be strands of that annoyingly crimson hair of his.

In the end Nabil would stand over him with his right palm open, allowing the red hair to drift out of it. The deadly flames of his element were still dancing off his right forearm and fist. A simple glance of arrogance and a smile of cockiness was all that was flashed as he looked over his shoulder at him. " Even fighters like you are thrash to Sabertooth. Pick yourself up, we've just started. "

It was a thud, a fist barreled into his back, a flame paired with it and a searing burn. Jinchu had watched as his opponent wrapped his body around to make the hit but he thought that he might land his own flaming fist first. A wince from taking the punch was all that was needed to misdirect his attack, connecting but in a much less effective way. The most effective part was the burning to bare flesh, similar to what was happening to his back.

"Aah!" Jinchu would let a slight noise, more from surprise as his hair was pulled. This Nabil was a dirty fighter, and Jin would not forget that after this moment. Even so he could not help his neck being brought back as in this moment the dirty act would have to be dealt with instead of prevented. From basic instinctual reaction his interlocked arm tensed and his free-hand shot up to cradle the wound. All his hand felt was a fiery fist to grab as the black flame burnt through his hair. With being caught by surprise his opponent also swiped his leading foot sending him back off-balance.

Jinchu felt the pull as he went down, Nabil tried to free his right arm but the Dragon Slayer refused to give way, still pulling in as tightly as possible. In his descent he turned his body and his left bicep would lay flat has his arm was bent to deal with his hair issue. Since he remained connected with Nabil and Nabil had all his weight on one foot, he would be leaning forward and off his center. The thud came that marked Jin's landing that was much softer than originally assumed and on his shoulder rather than his back. The ground below him became the perfect leverage to pull hard and roll over to his stomach to bring Nabil's body over.

On his landing there was still his left leg to consider. It was bent, flat on the ground, open to receive Nabil's weighted leg as he was pulled to being flipped over, tripping him to make sure the move succeeded. Nabil would be flipped, quite quickly over Jin, all the momentum gained would translate into his trajectory. He would land hard on his back, being drained of breath and maybe begin slightly bruising or suffer a minor concussion if his head connected with the ground.

The Spawn of Differing Flames Empty Re: The Spawn of Differing Flames

A sharp irritating pain came to the elbow in his initial lock. How tedious of a move that was, sure it had hurt but it wouldn't stop him any more than a punch to the arm would had. Though, he did get great joy hearing the mage squeal from his hair being pulled. Bet he never imagined that happening to him. Than again he guessed he never had fought a Sabertooth mage either. The thread like feeling of the man's hair in his fist was soon overshadowed by his grip.

Nabil's eyes widen as he tried to jerk away with little success. " The hell... " he growled, finding himself in this odd predicament. " Let go you piece of thrash ! " His voice obviously filled with anger. His mind raced to see away out, he could tell that he would fall with the crumbling man if he hadn't. " Dammit !! " The man's grip was too strong he had little choice in the matter but to attempt to brace himself. He tightened the muscles in his right leg trying to his halt his faltering balance long enough for his left foot to gain footing. Unfortunately the man's suddenly pull hadn't given much time for that.

Nabil again found himself on his back. The loud thud was the sound of bruises and he just knew it would hurt the next day. Deep breathes came from him as he tried to calm his speedy heart. The man was indeed reckless and tenacious, but so could he. That was the nature of fire; and who else was closest to flames than the man who embodied its very essence.

Nabil was a smart man, he was gifted with some of the knowledge of a celestial being after all. He knew that very well that the lock they were in worked both ways. And by this time the instinctual tense would had loosen to its usual strength, maybe even less from the prolonged strain. But honestly he was growing tired of these evermore lock-struggles. So he snaked his arm out of the lock and stumbled onto his knees and hands.

His worn body stood to it his full height, his chest obviously heaving up and down. Without a word Nabil begin to strip himself of his upper armor, leaving on his black undershirt as coverage, and even then holes had been burn into it. A condescending gaze, with a hint of malice in his eyes showed. " I don't need armor to defeat you. " he told him coldly. Looking at the red haired mage Nabil could feel something growing inside him. The heat around him suddenly begin to spike, feeling a kind of thrill that he hadn't in a long time. As it coursed through his veins, Nabil begin to look down at his trembling flame-engulfed hands. " Haha, Looks like you've brought something out of me. " he quietly said. His hair, waistcoat, and sash tails started to billow with the heat; even his flames seemed a bit rowdier then before.

With the flip, Jin turned his descent into a weapon of leverage. Pulling hard with his interlocked arm he lifted his opponent up, over, then down to collide with the ground, landing hard on his back. Nabil wheezed in response to the landing, winded for a moment, it was the perfect time for Jin to act. Raising his body by putting all his weight on his free forearm, Jinchu freed his hand from under him, allowing it to loosen its weak grip and maneuver itself to finally separate from the arm of the Saber. As he had relinquished his grip he had also felt the mutual efforts for freedom made by his opponent who had been able to gather enough air to begin moving as well.

Jin stood, giving himself time as he saw his opponent was in no hurry to immediately begin again. He dusted his front, feeling out his bruise on his back as he did so. It wasn't something that would noticeably hinder him but it was already getting a bit sore. He gave himself a breath or two since he felt a bit of fatigue but he did see that there was still some air Nabil was trying to get back in his lungs. Jin wouldn't call him on it, as he had only been stuck-up and ridiculous thus far; he wouldn't admit to his own weaknesses even if it benefited him.

Jin simply stood, a few meters away from Nabil, watching as he rid himself of his armor, " I don't need armor to defeat you. "

"Oh, really?" a slight laugh escaped his lips, "Looks like I'm doin' a nice job even with you hiding behind that body shield. But I like the fact that you finally have chosen to face me like a man, hehe!" Jin casually leaned back and stretched his arms out, getting a full stretch as Nabil spoke once more.

" Haha, Looks like you've brought something out of me. "

"More like I put something in to you." He returned upright, his obnoxiously confident grin, illuminated by a spout of flame erupted from his left cheek and another igniting all along his right forearm. "I bet you want to know what I put into you... But until you figure it out there's no point in you knowing, haha!" He made like he was about to charge then stopped, a puzzled look came to his face. Jin's right hand made its way to the top of his head, scratching it as he began to ask Nabil a question, "What kind of fire is that anyways?... Doesn't look very tasty."

It may seem like he was being silly at the moment but Jin was genuinely curious about why his opponent possessed black fire. He was so curious that he even was cool with halting the fight, just for a moment, so he could find out what was going on there. "Feel free to tell me, my fire is not the average either but at least it looks lively. And after that I'm gonna kick your ass, hehe!"
