The Spawn of Differing Flames - Page 2 Empty Re: The Spawn of Differing Flames

The man seem cocky all of sudden, sure he had been earlier, but his more recent words seemed to be directed at Nabil's ego. He wasn't amused. The lips of his mouth flat-lined and his crimson gazed laid heavily on the boy as his insults continued. The sweltering heat still surrounding him. His trembling hands continued but only slightly before he moved them out to his sides even more. The man had said what he wanted and than feinted a charge before speaking again.

" Fire ? " he questioned, as if the man had been inaccurate. " These flames are more than fire... They are gifts from a god. " he proclaimed proudly, stretching his arms fully outwards while black flames floated upwards in swirls on top of his forearms.

Nabil let his arms fall back to his side slowly, his flames still immersing the whole of his arms and shoulders. " Your words old no truth, so don't spew them so carelessly. " His tone was cold and bold. Nabil's legs spread evenly across the smooth ground as he readied himself for Jinchu's possible attack. He had his doubts about this guy's magic , for no normal fire mage could rival his flames. But if he was a so called dragonslayer than it all would make sense. Of course he had yet to prove this and didn't really care for doing so. All he wanted to do was put that man in his place.

Jinchu of course had little to say, Nabil's only answer to his question was a vague ramble about a gift from the Gods. His face was the definition of dumbfounded, one eye even looked larger than the other, an expression that he played too well for there not to be any truth to it. His fire dissipated, no longer having any random spouts or eruptions from his body. There was a single light-hearted display on Jin's part, Nabil would likely be confused by seeing the young Dragon Slayer behave so simply but Jin also didn't care much about his opponent's opinion.

"Gift from the God's!?.... What are you on?.... I guess I can just beat the answer out of yeh..... Alright, give me a second... Here I come!" Even though Nabil had been dissenting about what else he said, Jinchu was less-than-focused on backing it up with a skilled tongue; his fists would do that for him. Still it was fun to watch that cool, smug brat act all snooty with nothing to say, made it all worth it.

He spoke like he was on his way to launch an attack but he did indeed take a moment, looking left, right, then back to the center, that grin, and eyes of an indomitable will that those proud types hated to gaze upon. His knees bent, torso angled forward. He was clearly ready to fight but there was a lack of stance that he had before, "Looks like.... I'm gonna test what you're really made of."

With no more hesitation, Jinchu bolted forward, nearly covering the small distance between them (three meters) in a single stride, made with his left leg. In his next stride he would not slow, bringing his knee up to barrel it into Nabil's stomach. At the same time he crossed his arms, up in a defensive-looking appearance to guard his chest area. His trailing foot would drag on the ground as his movement pushed him forward. There was barely any weight on the foot though, as all his momentum would be put into his striking right knee. If landed the blow would nail the gut, once again knocking the wind out of Nabil and likely send him back a couple feet.

Jin had finally initiated the first attack in this new exchange that would unfold. He knew he was trying to cause his opponent to think, making his reactions be meditated instead of instinctual. If he could accomplish that then he would have a much easier time with Nabil, even with his dirty fighting style. Of course if he didn't succeed in this he wasn't going in blind either, Jin had formed some ideas in his time that he appeared to be just sitting idle. It was here where he would learn how much of a threat his opponent really was.

Nabil cocked a eyebrow to the boy's weird action. Moving his head right, left, than back to the center again made him look utterly ridiculous. " This fool is more of a buffoon than I originally thought. " Still though, Nabil could feel that this movement would be interesting to say the least. The way he was position was implying a frontward charge. Something that he was well accustomed too.

The flare on his fist sparked to life as Jinchu finally initiated his attack, Nabil's crimson eyes widen at the speed. It was avoidable but still, the speed was shocking. Even still, the mage made a fatal mistake, he had forgotten who he was fighting. He was mage of Sabertooth and too them any means of victory was necessary.

The only way to match such a straight-forward move was to implore some way of increasing one's own power to match theirs. Fortunately he had just that resource in his grasp. Placing his hands in a similar defensive position albeit it being a bit looser, Nabil burst towards the charging mage, covering about the same distance as he, give or take foot or two. His knee raised to meet the knee of his opponent's. Of course he had a burst of black flames spray from the sole of his foot to increase the attacking power of his knee at the last moments before impact. Enough so that his initial momentum, plus the power of his flames could have possibly made his knee stronger than the mage's before him. A thrill induced smirk was on the mage's face as the pain coursed through him.

His action was possibly just as stupid as the mage who originally performed it. But this was the way " true " fire mages fought. Their magic was total destruction and recklessness and that was how their combat was performed as well. Without regard for one's own well being, you were to take the opponent without hesitation. Burning all and anything that dared stepped in the way. This was the very essence of fire.

Nabil did not hesitate, he ran by instinctual warfare too, making Jin's next actions all the more exciting. His opponent matched his movements, bringing up his own oncoming knee. Of course Jin had hoped for this and before impact, initiated his own plan he started with. Calling forth his own magic, Jin's knee was coated with a passionate flame, causing the impact between the two knees crack the earth below, a stalemate of fire with only one advantage yielding to Jinchu; his opponent's knee was now burning.

In accordance with that was Jin's upper-body movement. It was actually very simple, he had planned to use his magic with this attack from the get-go, so in his same exertion of magic to his knee, he also brought forth another spell of his own. Little bits of flame sprouted from his knuckles, six inches long each. Less than a second behind the impact with the knees, Jin elevated his arms quickly then swiped downwards diagonally and the tufts of flame turned into six meter-long blades slicing down to shred Nabil. Of course the blades weren't deadly, only able to slice the skin down to the muscle but with that came first-degree burns inside the wounds, giving a much stronger notion of pain.

Jin's attack, if landed, would slice each arm from the top of the palm to the bottom of the elbow. The inside blades would cut an "X" into Nabil's torso and the outer blades would cut the mid-neck if exposed, or the face if his head leaned forward. Jin's attack was still not done, he leaned his upper-half forward in fluid motion from his cross slash to optimize on the pain he intended for his opponent to feel. His forehead would collided into Nab's without any form of hesitation or mercy. Of course if his head were to make contact then it would hurt, but it would do worse for his opponent based on momentum and expectation.

The Spawn of Differing Flames - Page 2 Empty Re: The Spawn of Differing Flames

Post by Nabil Tue Jan 01, 2013 2:05 pm

Their knees clashed and the power behind them cracked the earth underneath, even Nabil couldn't deny the pain he felt, but the thrill of the battle was so strong that he couldn't even turn an eye from his opponent. The burning sensation that had covered over his knee had been tolerable and irritating at best, but not enough to actually cause stifling pain to the God Slayer.

Nabil gazed into the man's indomitable eyes ready to make his next move. Of course his attack wouldn't end there either, Nabil was a calamitous fighter, so he would ultimately endure the pain and instinctively inflict the agony that he was accustomed to dishing out.

His right hand was positioned forward and over his head, determined to block the magic aiming for his face or anything below that, than his left opened up, aiming towards the mid-section of the male. They were close, close enough that neither could dodge the attacks. A tri-section dark magic circled formed in front of his hand, only slight bigger than the hand itself. No sooner than it had formed a sphere of black flames were crackling in his claw-shaped hands. All of this happening in the split second the mage had raised his own hands.

At the exact same time the man started to bring his hands down, Nabil shot out the first dark fire into the man's gut and mid-section. Five shots recoiled out of his hand each releasing a two foot explosion that was basically like receiving full-on strikes from his fist, along with burns and sears that would feel agonizing due to the consecutive stimulation of his pain receptors. That blast from his attack was also sure to create some space between them, partially giving him some lee-way from the man's magical slash.

Even so though, Nabil's arms were shredded, the pain he was in was intense. It was to the point where he didn't even want to lift it the arm much less throw punch. Streams of ruby fell from his right forearm. His breathe were heavy as he raised his left hand slightly below his chin, the back of his palm facing towards Jinchu. " I won't lose.. " he said, pausing in between deep breathes. " I can't lose. "

Jin was quite excited, this was becoming a true clash of flames. As he intended, his fiery claws cut into Nabil's arms and torso, carving an "X" starting at his lower ribs and crossing to end on either side just above his pelvis bone. His efforts did not come without consequence though, Jin was faced with a magical assault as well. The Saber made his best efforts to fight back with his black flaming spherical barrage. It was impossible for Jinchu to not take a hit, as was the risk of a direct charge. Even though impact was imminent, it wasn't as if Jin would just take the shots without resistance.

The first sphere was fired, visibly seen by Jinchu and he accordingly activated his magic. His spell would be too late to block the first blow, getting him hard in the gut to knock the wind out of him. The expansion quickly came after, Jinchu let his body drop, fully letting the pain and lack of oxygen take control as the black flames did their best to consume him. He was barely effected by the burns though as his spell had activated now, giving him the protection he needed to continue on even in the barrage of spheres to come, that he was oblivious to at that moment.

His glossier skin, giving way to visible lines resembling organized cracks in random areas of his body, showed the mark of his spell's effect. The next sphere came, visually masked by the first's expansion, nailing Jin in the chest (as he was in mid-drop) with its fiery force. The scales Jin cast reduced the damage and force from the blow, even more-so than it would against another spell. The only surprise that intrigued Jinchu when he received the blow is that the fire was not completely nullified. This meant his opponent was indeed a worthy fire user even if Jin wasn't sure how.

Landing on both knees, Jin took a great heave of air, letting the others fly over his head, gritting his teeth to deal with the burns. He would gain his ability to move a moment after the last fire orb flew over him. He was still breathing a bit heavier than was normal but he was flowing it in through his nose and out his mouth to reduce fatigue caused by his recent breath shortage. Jin pushed himself up off his single knee, the extra strength he had allowed him to do it quickly with relative ease. From his pop up, a very small crater of cracked earth formed due to his inflamed knee and he solidly planted with his left foot, slightly bent at the knee as if he was about to spring off it.

He only waited half-a-second to steady himself and indeed rebounded off his foot shooting once more at Nabil. The black-fire user was in pain and the evidence of it laid in the multiple lines of crimson, now even dripping in some areas, burnt by Jin's own fiery talons. Not to mention the Saber's knee was on fire, the flame eating up his pant without mercy, Jinchu could not hold back on a moment like this.

His leaping stride was only replicated in a quicker fashion off his right foot and there he was, once again up close and personal with Nabil once more, eyes wild andgrin as confident as ever. Jin skidded on his landing left, a powerful punch with his right aimed for Nabil's gut, just under where the cuts crossed. As he made the strike, Jin's left would float up near his head but only for a defensive second. He immediately sent his left in as a follow-up to connect with Nabil's jaw. Completing the intended three punch combo would be Jin's uppercut, which would strike hard as with each intended blow he had turned his hips to attain maximum force.

The Spawn of Differing Flames - Page 2 Empty Re: The Spawn of Differing Flames

Post by Nabil Thu Jan 03, 2013 9:19 pm

Nabil's anger was growing more and more unstable, with every blow that had flown over his the man's head, he knew that was more work he would have to do later. While his right arm laid willingly limp at his side, his left that he had raised only slightly above his chin had clenched tightly. A growl emanated between his furiously clenched teeth. " Do you mean to make a fool of a God ? " he asked, his fist tightening even more and his voice becoming loud with unrivaled fury. " YOU"RE A JOKE IF YOU THINK YOU CAN !!!! " he bellowed, tightening his core and preparing to face anything the man was going to dish out.

The glossy frame of man mattered little to Nabil at this point and his knee was of little concern as well. His deeply rooted emotion of pride was beginning to be cracked and broken, and the preservation of that entity in him was bringing great anesthesia to him. With a swipe of his fist Nabil snuffed the flame out on his knee and sparked up another burst of black flames around him, it was quick and explosive, ripping off the black shirt on his torso to burning threads.

Though the muscles on his body hadn't calmed at all, his arms were bulging and his torso was ripped with the leans abs that his training had brought to him. He wouldn't attempt to run and he wouldn't attempt to rush head on, instead he would bide his time and prepare for a counter that would bring about a turn around in the match.

His crimson eyes glowed with an aggressive intimidation as the male smiled and grinned in his face. As he skidded forwards and threw his fist, Nabil would take a single sliding step towards the space of the man's gut, turning his body fluently towards the man's right arm at the point of entry. At the same time he waited for the man's fist to be extended then quickly raised his left knee up to its forearm and powerfully slammed his left elbow down slightly above where his knee had been placed. The move was meant to break his right forearm. To inflict pain, agony, regret, and most of all despair.

The breakage wouldn't be the same as his shredded arm, it would be much more detrimental to his combat abilities. The pain would be truly crippling and if he had the resolve to continue forwards still, than it would only take a few more blows to end him. He allowed only a split second of agony to pass within the boy before shooting the elbow his left arm into the man's face, it would have taken less than a split-moment and would bring sharp pain to the man's cheek and cause him to stumble at lest a foot or two away from.

The sight of the weary mage would bring about the thought of a beaten and cornered dog. The crimson spheres that were his eyes hid within the billows of dust that had been brought up from the slides of their feet. His body was hunched over in a way that allowed his left arm to hang between his spread legs, both of them were bent at the knees. And for his right to hang on outside of his right leg. He took deep breathes before sighing both ghostly and tiredly.

Jin skidded into position, throwing his punch for the beginning of his intended combo. There was still clearly some fight in his opponent as he turned to avoid the strike. Unfortunately for the Saber he moved into a perfect position for Jin to do some damage. His weight was on his leading left foot, and since Nabil moved in close, Jin brought up his free right knee to drive it into his opponent's exposed side, still lit aflame. This movement would pull Jin's punching arm back.

"LIKE I GIVE A DAMN ABOUT SOME-" His words echoed through the entire area, just until reality set in. He had come in too fast from the hop, the resulting skid should have clued Jin in but he was such a wild-fire he didn't clue in; let alone prepare to slow himself. He tried to bring the knee up as Nabil stepped in close but his balance was lacking and he went forward, his top leading. The Saber would raise his elbow then come down to strike in occurrence with his left knee raising. His fall forward would send his own right shoulder into the falling elbow. Meanwhile his left foot was nearly off the ground, toes dragging while Jin's other knee remained hunched up in sorts. Nabil's rising knee would prematurely glance off Jin's forearm as it angled more down and forward due to his new predicament.

Through clenched teeth Jin made a slight grunt, the placing of the blow was painful even with his scales active. Of course Nabil might have been a little confused by the lack of effect but Jin had bigger things to deal with. His right knee would connect with Nabil's but with minimal force as he did not plan for his fall. Making it to the ground, he would roll diagonally over his shoulder, coming back up to his feet but in a crouched position. He would rub his head, he must have hit it during the roll but he took a few moments a little confused; Jin was not expecting to mess up like that. His opponent would have suffered balance issues from his limbs being pushed, forcing him to turn on his one leg but otherwise, besides his earlier injuries, remained unharmed.

"Wow... Looks like I am not the only who is underestimating his opponent... I guess I screwed up a bit there."

Nabil released a chuckle as Jinchu's speech came to a quick end, while still partially shrouded by the brown billowing debris. His crimson eyes glowing through the streams. " Screw up ! Your way past screwed up kid. Your royally F***ed ! " again he laughed, his body bruised and his armed blooded, even his waist cloak had been torn and burned at the left bottom.

He had little options left, he had to conserve the rest of his magic, saving it for a single killer blow, so he would be forced to go physical on the boy. Nabil crouched low, filling energy into his legs as he tensed them and rocketed himself off towards the wall of the building on the right side of Jinchu or more specifically on the side of his injured arm. Landing on the gray-stoned wall, he was forced to placed his arms on it, the pain of the scarred tissue on his left arm made him cringe but he would only be in pain for a split second. It was worth the drive and instinct to crush the opponent before him. He had too, the man's very words and face suffocated his pride.

The split second that he had staid on the wall he had already established his positioning to Jinchu, he was six feet across from him and four feet above him. This move would be a risky one but his instincts and survival had honestly driven him to do it.

With a devastating push from the wall -utterly cracking the stone built in it- he blasted off towards Jinchu. The small distance mixed with the force of the push would give him seemingly quicker than normal speed. His right arm lead the force of his momentum aiming for the face of the fiery haired mage.

The Spawn of Differing Flames - Page 2 Empty Re: The Spawn of Differing Flames

Post by Raiga Sun Jan 06, 2013 7:17 pm

Jin's head turned his head, Nabil seemed to be saying something but it was just more promises that he was going to defeat Jin. He slowly rose to his feet as the Saber laughed but there was nothing but passion latent in his eyes. His stuck-up opponent would obviously have little understanding of why Jin's spirit was so literally casting him aside. He flexed his right forearm feeling the beat of the bruise as Nabil tensed up and began rocketing off to the side. His smirk bringing on a callous dominance that could not be seen or heard; only felt in the bones of the two fire mages.

Nabil left the ground and Jinchu moved in turn, his initial push coming off his left foot. He took a couple running strides, Nabil rebounded off of a wall, and Jinchu bounded to meet him. From taking the action to jump and clash with Nabil it would seem as if he was walking into his own facial destruction. Jinchu was not quite that foolish though, his movements wouldn't give him opportunity to be punched. When Jin leaped into the air he kicked his legs forward, letting them lead his momentum and he would lay flat in the air, back slightly arched, arms extended back over his head as he snapped them up while he jumped to gain momentum. The force of his legs would unload square into Nabil's chest, creating not only a powerful blow but Jin was also protected and way out of range to worry about his opponent's punch.

If his blow landed, Jinchu would continue to arch his back and kick his legs up as his palms touched the ground. Straining his arms, he would keep himself steady as he flipped backwards and his feet landed firmly on the ground. Letting his weight rock back to his feet, Jin stayed in his crouched position and held his right forearm with his left, almost soothing his muscle. His arm wasn't in a dangerous condition but it was best to keep watch over it so it didn't get worse. Upon his face would be a confident grin. His opponent would have taken the full hit to his chest and fell hard to the ground. Normally you would expect Nabil might have flown back quite far but it was unlikely since he had his own forward momentum.

"Hehe... This is what it is like to face a Dragon... REMEMBER WHAT THAT MEANS!" The damage Nabil would suffer was not fatal but definitely pivotal in this fight. He would be on the ground, heaving as his chest felt like it would be caving in. Due to the placement it was unlikely there would be too many issues with broken bones unless he caught his sternum. Jin's hair was a bit of a mess around him, many parts that normally laid back behind his shoulders were now over the front, hanging around his face, all over his jacket and making him look like a hard ass. The hair almost completely covered his left eye but the intensity of his right shone through. His own muscles were sore in places and his breathing was a bit heavier than normal, Nabil had proven to be a worthy challenger, even with his annoying attitude.

A arrogant smile lifted his face as Jinchu had done exactly what he had thought he would. The way of fire mages were too predictable and their wills were to adamant to deter them from their straight-forward approach. An intensity that wasn't seen before decorated Nabil's crimson gaze and psychotic gaze as he held tight to the wall behind him.

He burst off the wall, leaving it cracking and twin trails of dust from the soles of his steel sabatons. His wild black hair had been released from it banded capture and now flew behind him, specters of the dark flames tingeing from the tips of his hair. A bellowing cry was released as he approach, his voice echoing through the barren Clover town street.

Between the moment of impact and Nabil's own quick thinking he was forced to recognize the man's " slight " potential. Even his gaze had loosened from it arrogant stare and lowered into a condescending, yet serious glare as he received the man's boots into his chest, effectively dropping him to the ground.

Nabi's body thumped hard into the ground. His desolate gaze was blurred as he felt the persistent pain of his chest tugging at his heart. Deep breathes were exhaled, but he wouldn't allow his body too much rest. Even while his pain continued to throb Nabil raised up onto his knee, the other leg knelt on the ground. His right arm held his chest and his left lifted up towards Jinchu, its palm open and his fingers outstretched. He had no words for the mage, only the invitation that his calmly, determined eyes were sending. He wouldn't back down on his pride, even if he had taken a thousand blows from the mage in front of him.

His opponent slowly rose, a sign of strength Jinchu could respect from another fire user. As an excited smile caressed his face his eyes began to go quite wild, the intensity he was harboring became erratic in his gaze, like a flame in full splendor. His emotions always seemed to reveal themselves for everyone to see. It was not a guarantee whether Nabil would see it this way but the fact that Jinchu was going to keep going as hard as he could was how he showed his respect.

Spouts of flame erupted from his shoulders and elbows as he pushed hard forward, like he was to launch himself head-first into the black-fire mage. Almost immediately after he launched himself his thrust his left palm to the ground, to hold and stabilize himself. As he did this he kicked hard with his right leg, whipping his body all the way around so that his right foot would sweep in to land a devastating roundhouse-like kick to his mid-section on his left.

"I WON'T STOP UNTIL YOU LIE FLAT ON YOUR BACK!" His voice would echo again, marking this moment as one of pride, a symbol of passionate flames, the clash of the differences, and a promise of more encounters to come. This was one of the better fights he had had in the last year, but there were only a few more minutes left, either way. It was nearing the finish line of the fiery race.

The Spawn of Differing Flames - Page 2 Empty Re: The Spawn of Differing Flames

Post by Nabil Thu Jan 17, 2013 3:21 am

The dark flames of his magic sprouted from the left side of his face and right shoulder, swirling in a dance of will and tenacity. His body felt like mush, exhausted and battered. He had never had such a fight in his life, but his perseverance to continue wouldn't allow him to rest the weary bones and bruised muscles of his body.

He had imagined a dozen possible scenarios that the battle could have possibly taken and all of them had ended with his victory. He WOULD not... No he COULD not allow himself to fall, and especially not to some inferior flame wielder. The title of Sabertooth and his title of God Slayer was on the line here.

Nabil braced himself, his muscles twinging with pain but he forced them into submission, placing his left side forwards and right back. If he was too protect his hindered side than he would need to keep it out of reach. His torso turned as well, having his left arm towards Jinchu and his right behind his back. " Dammit. " he thought, clenching his teeth and bringing his left hand into the form a tensed claw. Though his right hand dangled aimless behind him, it was ready to defend itself. The blood running down his arm had stiffened a little, crusting over with the heat of his flames.

The bright flamed mage's move was expressive and intense. It was one that aim for his weak spot and one that had little openings in it delivery. As the foot swung around for his mid-section he grasped the man's ankle in his claw like hand and pulled it to the opposite side of it intended target, so that his pull would be at its strongest. He had hoped the pull would bring the man off balance and put him onto his back or stomach; either one would have done. Not skipping a beat and still holding the man's ankle, Nabil leaped into the air and with his steel sabtons attempted to smash into either his abdomen, side, or even back. " YOU FIRST! " he growled in response to the man's words.

The boy went to block, just catching Jin's ankle but he didn't seem to notice the cost of that move. First there was the fact that Jinchu's entire body was thrown into the shot, it would take him a moment of stability for fear of letting the follow-through force continue its course. The second was that Jin would take that moment to light both his feet aflame, scorching the hand in question holding his ankle. With acquiring some extra strength in his feet he pulled his grabbed foot down with Nabil's own intended direction but ripping away to stomp into the ground.

As he kicked down with his foot his whole body turned to stomach-face the ground and he thrust his other palm down for support. This whole movement would have three of Jin's limbs stabilizing him as Nabil's lead arm crossed over, leaving his whole left side exposed. His free left leg would slide in sending his heel for Nabil's open ribs. This blow would connect without fail if his previous movement bound his opponent as he planned, and even if he managed a block there was going to be some direct fire-to-skin contact.

There were no more words to be said on Jin's end, he had finally decided it was his time to end the whole thing in the next few minutes. Nabil was nearly out of steam and Jin saw, maybe recognized that look of sheer determination. His opponent was running on his will power at this point, but unfortunately he would find no solace in that aspect against Jinchu. The Dragon Child had no shortage of his own will to fight, survive and win; and that's exactly what Jinchu intended to do.

The Spawn of Differing Flames - Page 2 Empty Re: The Spawn of Differing Flames

Nabil could feel the scorching sensation wrapping around his hand from the inflamed foot he had grasped, still it wasn't enough to cause him to let go. Had the man forgotten or better yet the man just hadn't know that he had been taught by a God. His tolerance for fire had been greater than any other mage out there, their was no way that flames weaker than his own would make him submit, no matter how much heat he pushed out. He on the other hand was never one to back down from a challenge.

Just as the bright fire mage's feet had caught fire, so had his fist. Surrounded with the dark, swirling flames of a god, Nabil had even the strength and as he attempted to rip his foot from his grasped, the dark flames would ignite a blazing feeling in the man ankle, one that could have been easily recognized through his own flames. His grip was adamant, in veins protrude from under his skin; a testimony to how strong his iron grip had been. " IS THAT ALL YOU HAVE !!! " he mocked in a bellow, holding the man's leg, but keeping watch for any fast moves from him while doing so.

While speaking his right arm, move out to side, his right palm snapped open and was aimed for the body and face of the offset man. With his leg held for longer than expected their was sure to be a second of instability. As this happened the darkened light of his flames would enshroud them with a dull, mist like light. The small orb both swirling with darkness and torrential flames would lie in front of his palm and dark three-section magical circle in front of the hand. The area became like an unearthly graveyard, haunted by the flames of Hades himself. Nabil held a closed-mouth smirk that under underline his arrogance by the glare of superiority in his crimson eyes.

Nabil wasn't going to take any chances this time, the mage had already shown an aptitude for one on one combat, while he had the man's leg he decided he would throw off the man's ability to use his balance and stability. With a forward push of the man's leg than a harsh pull back towards himself, Nabil hoped for the man to lose balance, possibly landing him on his side where his face would be exposed with his arms splayed out so that his face was open just for a second.

With that happening right when the flames had formed in his hand, Nabil would release all five from his palm. Aiming for sensitive areas where the pain would be the most crippling and neutralizing of his movement. Three orbs shot towards his face in two seconds; sure to feel like full on punches, if not than even stronger because of the sensitive spots such as the eyes, nose, and ears.

The dark flames would burn his face with first degree burns leaving his vision impaired and his ears mostly deaf from the force of the blows. The other two were sent towards his body in quick recession towards his torso area, not really caring for where they had hit. All he knew was that it wouldn't cause the same detrimental damage as his first blows had and that it was more so as another way to throw him off his senses.

If all of this had hit, the man would be vulnerable, even if defenses were thrown up how could it stop the damage to his hearing or eyes. He would be greatly hindered and probably staid or crumpled up. In the mean while Nabil would still hold the man's leg in his arm, he was determined to show this man the ruthlessness of Sabertooth and a God Slayer.

The Spawn of Differing Flames - Page 2 Empty Re: The Spawn of Differing Flames

{OOC: When we talked about it I thought you were going to change your post to offer up a different attempt at defense. But I guess it's about time I just go assuming you could not stop my attack. If you see this and PM within 48 hours of this post we can rework it in some other way.]

Jinchu's blazing foot rocketed into the opening that he strategically created. The Dragon Slayer wasn't by any means an academic but if there was something that he was intelligent about, it was they ways of combat. The connection of his heel with Nabil's exposed ribs was definitive, but not at full natural force because of the resistance that was given to Jin's other leg. Even so, the fiery spell he cast lent enough extra power to make up for and add a little bit of strength, not to mention the heat of the flame. The ribs did not cave in from the blow, they were not battered enough to give way yet, but they were definitely more susceptible by this point, as all the damage Jinchu has been dealing has been to Nabil's core. Once more an attack would send his opponent to the ground, making gasps for air.

"Well... You have been definitely stronger than I thought... But this is what happens when you challenge a Dragon Slayer on a whim! Hehe... Never underestimate that power, I will always be the one to make you pay for it if you do." He lowered his left leg to the ground, using it as support to rise to a stand. Nabil was likely still taking quite laboured breaths and tending to his chest, if he was even getting up yet. Jinchu wasn't even denying himself a few moments of panting, his opponent indeed gave him a good workout. His feet would remain aflame as he began to walk away. "Come on Raza, we gotta go!" Jinchu nearly got into a jog as his buddy spread his wings and glided after him.

"Where are we going to, ya knuckle head?"

"We got stuff to do, don't you remember!?" They hurried on and left Nabil alone to ponder his thoughts or whatever he planned to do next. Jinchu didn't address it in quite such obvious words but it was very clear that he marked a rival in fire. The most interesting part is he never got an answer to what the magicexactly was, nor did he try to eat it (didn't think it looked tasty). There were going to be many more encounters between the these masters of flame in the future. The only question is which flame will shine brighter by the end.
